Thank you for the prayers and well wishes for my son.  He is doing GREAT!!   God has blessed us in this whole ordeal and I'm so happy to say he is recovered and doesn't seem to have any lasting issues. 

it's amazing how fast he has healed!

NOTICE

As some of you may know,  I am running a bit behind schedule with emails and a few orders are delayed by a couple days.   Some I had estimated to ship out by last week and a few by this week.   Most of the orders have been completed and were shipped  today.  But there are still a couple that I am currently working on.  I am hoping to have all orders with shipping dates of this week to be out by the end of this week.  

My son had a very bad biking accident.  He was unconscience, and lost his memory.  After being rushed to the ER in an abulence they decided to keep him overnight.   I  stayed  in the hospital with him.  We have been going to special doctor visits yesterday, today and again tomorrow which are an hour drive each way.   This is taking a large bite out of my creation time.  this is the reason for the delay.  

Thank you in advance for your understanding in this matter. 

This is the reason why I always schedule all my orders to have an estimated shipping date of at least a month before their "needed by" date.    All  the orders that are scheduled to ship within the next few days have dates in June.   So even though there is a bit of a delay everything still has plenty of time to arrive.  

Please pray for my son to get well soon.  He will be off from school for probably close to 2 weeks... Has some brain injury and facial trauma,  not too sure on anything else at this moment. 

Moms Contrabution to a Georgeous Keepsake

This spactacular wedding garter was created using the lace from my clients wedding dress.   She sent it to me to make an ultra special keepsake for her daughter.  Her ivory lace was married with my ivory satin, pink threads and bows to result in a beautiful garter that will be cherished for probably generations.  I sewed 6 dozen Swarovski crystals by hand.   Since the names and date were in pink, we decided that adding some pink crystals with the clear/white ones would be lovely.   It turned out to be gorgeous. 

Chalk this on up to another wedding garter I find hard to ship off, cause it's so beautiful I wish I could keep it for myself ;)

Custom Wedding Garters is 11 years young and blessed

I can't beleive it has been 11 Years since I made my first official Hand-Crafted Creation for a client.

How far things have come from that first little creation I made back in 2001.    The first 8 Garters that follow were some of the very first garters I ever made.   Such a far cry from the amazing things I have ventured into over the past decade.    Creations for Celebs were great but I think my favorite thing to do is custom embroidery creations.   They are completely creative.   Check out a few of the items I have highlighted from the recent years.   After making over 15,000 Hand-Crafted Creations,  I would say the details and quality has grown along with my business.

Gorgeous custom embroidered dress tag.   This Label has two colors for depth and character.   This is a very large tag and would make a beautiful addition to some kind of home decor after the big day.

Happily Ever After for the princess

Once upon a time there was a pretty gal who wanted to have a beautiful wedding full of wonder,  sparkles and magic.  She had her wedding planned from the most amazing decorations,  delicious food and her royal wedding attire, all the way down to the very last detail  - her undergarments. 

Everything was just about perfect... the only thing missing was her garter.   She new it must be something so special that it would bring a tear to her eye.... so she did what any bride would, she asked her Fairy-god-mother to send her the link to the perfect wedding garter designer.   Immediately she was sent through cyberspace to the HCC Princess Garters,  and then to the Swarovski Crystal Lux garters,  where she found the garter of her dreams.  It wasn't the exact color she wanted but she knew that Victoria, the dream garter designer, would make the perfect garter especially just for her, totally custom made from scratch.  Victoria created the beautiful princess wedding garter shown below.  She sent it off to her princess bride who was so elated when she saw all the beautiful crystals sparkling and shining so bright.   Her prince groom removed the garter after their marriage and they cherished it in their memory shadow box  and everyone lived Happily Every After...  :)

Custom MSP Embroidered Garter

Plane with wings and S.T.A.T.E letters embroidered  -  embroidery design was custom created by Victoria Joanne special for her client.   She can create any custom embroidery that you give her if YOU have the right to.   If you made a picture and want to have it turned into a sewn embroidery pattern it is possible!   Totally cool.

The Canandian American Merge

When the bride and groom are each from a different country it's a merge of the two!  My lovely bride who ordered this special Country N' State Garter set wanted a garter that represented both Canada and the USA, so we came up with the design shown here.   The toss garter was a simple red satin band without any lace - just two flag pins and a white ribbon loop.    The keepsake garter was specially made with red and white on the left and a custom made embroidery design of the red maple leaf.  The right side of the band has the red, white and blue of the USA.  It's embellished with white and silver lace and Swarovski Crystals. 

How great it is when you can have at least one item that represents the two of you as one.   Having a Custom Wedding Garter created to represent each of you is the perfect way of doing so without being overly eccentric in your wedding design.   Since the garter is such a private and hidden part of the bridal wear, it can easily be the one "over the top" item without ever impacting the feel of your event.   Classy, traditional, or ultra modern... what ever your wedding style, a custom garter can be WHAT EVER YOU WANT!

I Wish You All the Best

What a crazy year 2011 has been.  So many changes, one of which was moving into another home!   It's been quite the adventure.   I'm so happy to say that we have almost gotten to the end of this year and a fresh new year is right around the corner. 

 I wanted to wish all my lovely clients the best as all of you come closer to your special days.  some of you have already tied the knot!!  I hope your day was perfect.   Some are tying the knot this very weekend.  My best wishes are with you!   And some of you won't be walking down the aisle until way off into the Summer or Fall of 2012... but no matter what, you all have one thing in common.  You have become one of the special HCC brides and I'm so honored to be able to serve you all.
