Formal Wedding With John Deere accents - Custom Garter, Pillow, & Flower basket by ME :)

basket and pillow for John Deere wedding
Here is the very first Embroidered Ring pillow I ever made.  Boy this brings me back to 2005!  I was not familiar with the way the embroidery would work on the satin that I was using.  The satin I had was very delicate.  So soft and supple but NOT good for embroidery as I soon would find out.   I don't know how many squares of satin I went through before I finally came out with the beautiful creation for my bride.   probably 6 or 8 at least!   Sewing the tracktor on was fine - so it tricked me into thinking that it was all good... so Every time I got to the lettering part the fabric would tear and buckle and just look hidious!!   Finally my blond brain had an idea... Maybe the Fabric just couldn't withstand the strain of having the tight stitching for the letters.  So I purchased some nice thick sturdy satin and BINGO  It all embroidered out beautifully!   THAT was a lesson learned and learned the hard way.  HOURS and hours of extra work to get things right.   But in the end it concluded with a very happy client  :)   She and her flowergirl/bridal attendants are below along with the ring boy.  They're so cute.
I'm so glad I was able to create this fun wedding accessory set for her.  It was the start of a wonderful embroidery creation storm for me.   Embroidery design and creation is one of my favorite aspects of this biz!
Cute-zies!  Kids  :)
I really love chatting - come on over and sit down - take a load off and comment a while  :)  Tell me your thought on this and any other blog post I've written.
