My Lovely Friend Jane Who lives in the UK and married an Aussie.
It was such a pleasure to make this garter for Jane. Jane is a great lady who I had the pleasure of becoming friends with on the internet. We never met because she actually lives across the ocean. But we know each other from the world of blogs.
The love of her life is a man named Zeno. He is from Australia. So Jane wanted to have a garter that represented his country since he would be homesick at times. It was her special sentimental gift to him.
I created this wedding garter with the Australian sports colors. You can see the image of the gold metal below. Yellow with a wider green stripe and three thinner green ones. This was my inspiration for the band. Then the charm was chosen by Jane to represnt her and Zeno (heart with two lovebird kissing)
Jane didn't do any kind of garter toss. She had a simple wedding and wore her garter for Zeno only. It was a special thing between the two of them only. You can see it again below. It must have warmed his heart to see the colors of his homeland on his new wifes leg. Knowing that she loves him enough to represent him in such a personal way.
