She ispired me to post a blog on my site so that you all can share in the testimony to marriage.
I just love to hear happy stories of marriage. Infact it's one of the little prayers I say for each of my clients - that they will have a wonderful marriage and stay in love forever... never lose the love they now have.
Jessica's story is a beautiful testimony to marriage Weddings are but one day in a girls life... but the marriage is for the rest of her days. The marriage is the more important of the two. The Garter Hubby and I have been married for just over 16 years. We too have been through the tough times... they come and go... my philosphy is that if we can make it through them we will become stronger for it.
This is the reason we have decided to celebrate each passing decade of our marriage with a real wedding. We have already done one on the beach in the Bahamas . I wore my original wedding dress and he wore a tux. It was beautiful! We'll be doing one in Vegas in 4 years. Maybe the next one after that, will be in Paris or Egypt... not sure yet. LOL
But it's something to celebrate for sure! Making it through each day and year as husband and wife with love in our hearts is a true accomplishment!

Wow! thanks so much! I love that you celebrate with another wedding every 10 years. I think we are going to have to start that too - I would love to wear my gown again. Weddings are wonderful, but the marriage is what is so amazing - it has been such an incredible journey, and i am looking forward towards everything to come!
I Know getting to wear the wedding dress more than once is a huge plus! LOL It's also a good incentive to lose weight if one's like me and gained LOL If I want to fit that thing ever again I'll need to drop a "few" pounds.
having a person who you know is here through thick and thin is soo awesome, isn't it?!
well you know about my marriage so i wont bother repeating it all here :D. but if you think i am going to wait 4 years to go the bahamas - think again !
