A friend who I wish all the best in life and love...
She was getting marrried for the second time and wanted to
make a new start.  Since white didn't work for her the first time
around she decided to make this time around in black.

God's Good Morning Kiss

I just adore where we live... Each morning I am greated by the sun.
It peeks up over the hill at the end of our street and shines right on my face.  Some people would rather close themselves off with curtains or blinds  but I actually enjoy my natural alarm clock. 

The sun rays kiss my cheek each sunny morning and on cloudy days I
over sleep.  Either time it is a lovely sight to open my eyes  and take in the nature that
is around me.

As the sun moves along in the sky it shines it's warming beams onto

 my face. It makes me feel happy and so alive.  Sun beams burstin

from the clouds are like rays of hope for me.  When I see them shining
bright and strait, they tell me that life is amazing and God is watching me
from above.

The sun rays can shoot out from above or below the clouds...
but, no matter what they always give me hope!! 

Thank you God for letting me have vision so that I can behold the

 beauty you have so blessed the world with.

Life is a road that twists and turns

we never know where the road of life will bring us...

My father lost the love of his life almost a month ago  (the Day before Thanks Giving November 25, 2009) it was totally sudden and unexpected. It was a devistating time for everyone. We love Barbara so very very much. She was the spark that lit my dad's life... the reason for him to wake up each morning... She was the best human being to ever happen to him EVER.



Before meeting Miss Barbara in 2007, my father was a depressed and "sort of" hopeless man.   He had gone through some really really rough times with personal family issues.   And even worse... he was (and is)  dealing with Neuropathy in his feet and starting in his hands.   (this is a horrible and progressive disease that there is no cure or hope for) Noone knows why it comes - genetic issue or something... sort of like arthritis attacks the bones well Neuropathy attacks the nerves and progresses from the extremities on up.  (he will likely be in a wheelchair some day)   It started with my dads feet feeling weird and painful, leading to now where they are completely numb. He can't even feel them there... (like too blocks of wood that make it hard to walk or balance)   anyway -  When he met Barbara she gave him a reason to live his life.   She was almost blind so he helped her and opened up a full life to her which she couldn't live before... She would stay in at night and never go anywhere for fear of not being able to see.   They both brought life to the other.  It's so profound and difficult to explain what they did for one another... Basically She changed him for the best and was like an angel given to him when he needed it.  

When Barbara died my fathers life took a drastic turn in a new direction...  No longer having his daily companion to be with him each day as they took on the world... With his home in contract to be sold his life was in upheavel.  My fathers future plans have all just disapeared with the death of Barb...

Our family dynamics changed on that day. My dad came up to MA to live with us on the Monday following Thanks Giving, (after the funeral)... It is likely going to be for the rest of his days. His future has changed... completely. And it has changed our lives as well.  This is such a difficult and emontional time for all.

I will probably blog more on the subject in future times Please feel free to comment any time you like. It does help to be able to discuss things with others.

To Protect, Serve and Love... Loving a police officer

Loving a police officer can't be an easy.  They are always in harms way and out there in the worst of the world.   The job of the police officer is a difficult one.  They are called to be on the front line many times and can be out all hours of the night.   Marrying a police officer is marrying into a life style.   One that a couple must embrace as part of them... not just a job but a life.  This is one reason why the Police wedding garters are so very popular.   They pay tribute to the fact that the couple is come together into a new life of husband and wife.   One that will include being a police officer and a spouse of an officer.

A Wedding Garter for the Chess King! especially by @Wedding_Garters

It's so nice to know that my clients still think of me years after they get married.   It's an honor to be able to make a difference in a ladies day to the point where they go out of their way to recomend me, or even order from me years later. 

 

I can't believe I forgot to send this e-mail for soooo long! I got married September 9, 2006. I meant to immediately thank you for the beautiful garter and send you pictures right after the wedding, but I seemd to have forgotten.  What reminded me to do this is that one of my best friends is getting married soon. I have told her about your site and recommended it highly, so hopefully she will be ordering from you soon!
