oOoOw A Scrary Blast from the past! Themed Wedding

Themed weddings are one of the fun ways that some couples like to express themselves.  And why not?   I think it's wonderful when couples feel they can be themselves and have LOADS of fun while their at it.

Back in 2007 I had a beautiful bride named Stephanie.  She and Chris were having a Halloween themed wedding.  So she had me custom create something fitting for that holiday along with including one of her favorite little kitties Hello Kitty.   You can see the garter below. 

I really Love her dress.  It was one of the new (at that time) colorful accent dresses.   Stephanie was probably considered more on the wild side for having it... who knew she was a true trend setter like so many other colorful brides were a few years ago. 

Her dress has a black band of material along the top of the bodace and a beautiful black accent down the back right into the train. It's stunning along with the black accent on her wedding veil. 

The black accent on her dress was even carried over in her hem.  It went around the entire front of the dress as well as accenting the train.   It's so unique (just like Stephanie) 

Then there was the bouquet and the fun grooms cake.  Her flowers were wonderful with the spooky theme.  The dark and light colors worked very well together. The deep purple color really makes a bold statement.    And the grrooms cake !  Well that's a creepy cake for sure :)  A mock-up of a haunted house.   Too funny. 

 

And now onto the fun halloween Hello Kitty garter I created for Stephanie.  She wrote: 

"You did a Hello Kitty garter for my wedding that was October 27, 2007. I just wanted to write and say that I loved it. I loved it so much that I brought a cheap .99 cent one for my husband to throw. I was not giving up my Hello Kitty. I attached a picture so you can see what it looked like"
