That is Sooo TACKY!

LMBO!! 

This word "TACKY"  is definitely  overused.   The "Tacky police" are always trying to make people feel bad for the deisgns, themes and styles they choose.   The current trend in the wedding industry is that many wedding bloggers just LOVE to act as if they are the authority on style and fashion.   They talk down upon anything that doesn't seem to match up with what THEY consider to be "stylish".

I know I've heard it on more than one occasion that the garter is "Tacky", but my clients and I know better.  We know that wedding garters can be very beautiful and, sometimes, one of the most sentimental wedding accessories of the day. 

The bride, who is true to herself, wont be afraid to BE herself!   The wedding is all about you and your fiance...  I say... "Who cares what the 'tacky police' say!!"  As long as YOU are happy with YOUR wedding!!
