Mothers Wedding Dress turned Gorgeous Garter

Have you ever wondered how you could incorporate the -out of style- and outdated wedding dress that used to be your moms or grandmothers?  They hope that you would want to wear it, but it's just not your style.   Well there is a way to bring your sentimental dress into your day in a way that will make it a keepsake you can treasure for a lifetime. 

Have your mothers wedding dress material created into a gorgeous custom made wedding garter.  

Below is a wedding garter that was created from my clients mothers dress.   I used the satin for the band and I even used special lace that was taken from the sleeves of the gown and sewed them on in a decorative way to embellish the center peacock feather.   It all turned out lovely and is such a meaningful wedding accessory now.
